Natural Pain Remedies vital to curb rising analgesic addiction
12/15/2005
The need for Natural Pain Relief, becomes even more important when examining the results of a national survey recently released by the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University. It stated that although some inroads were being made in curbing the increases in alcohol and illicit drug abuse as well as a decline in teen smoking, the abuse of prescription drugs has been sharply rising.
This report, released in July 2005, revealed the frightening statistics that more Americans are abusing controlled prescription drugs than cocaine, heroin, hallucinogens and inhalants all put together.
By the year 2003, there were about 15 million admitted prescription drug abusers. The number of teens involved has almost tripled and the problem is worsening. The continual pain killer advertising on TV coupled with the pressure and demands put on teens today, make this epidemic inevitable. The drug companies might be pleased with their bottom line at the end of each year but at what cost to our youth and the future citizens of this planet?
"It is for this very reason that I felt it was worth all the time and effort to develop a Natural Pain Remedy," said Judy Cutler, a well known nutritionist in Los Angeles who successfully formulated 'Naturally Painless' - a Natural Pain Relieving spray. "As a nutritionist, I sometimes have to assist in repairing some of the damage done to the body by overuse of analgesics. These occasions have definitely increased in recent years", she added.
Although the misuse of painkilling drugs is a rising statistic among teens, it is by no means limited to that demographic. Parents and loved ones can sometimes unwittingly become "pushers" through their genuine concern and effort to spare their loved ones discomfort or pain. They offer this or that analgesic "as advertised on TV" as a solution to the problem. It could therefore be a child, a parent, spouse, grandparent or even the face in the mirror that could benefit from using a Natural Pain Reliever with no possibility of addiction or side effects.
