Natural Pain Remedy for Sore Throat Pain Relief

12/11/2007

It’s 6 am and I wake up with an inflamed, scratchy throat.  Drat!  I’ve succumbed to the “bug” that has been going around.  I just can’t spend the day with a sore throat.  I’ve got WAY too much to do and I just don’t WANT to be sick.

I’m NOT going to reach for over-the-counter pain relief because I know about the side effects of those.  I only want all natural pain relief.

I do a mental inventory of my natural remedies; searching for something that will nip this bad boy in the bud.

Echinacea.  The essence of this flower is popularly believed to be an immunostimulator, stimulating the body's immune system and warding off infections, particularly the common cold.  Of course, I will use that, but it’s not instant relief.  It WILL help in the long run and I should take it at the very first sign of a cold or flu.

Extra Vitamin C.  Yes, that will be good.

Some soothing honey.  I just read an article that one of the big universities did a study on honey being one of the best things for a cough.

But… still…. my throat!  What would instantly relieve the inflammation?  What do I have that is a natural pain reliever that instantly reduces inflammation to get rid of the pain?

Oh right… Naturally Painless topical analgesic spray.  Yes, but, I’m not going to spray Painless down my throat!!  Right, but I remember hearing that you spray “Naturally Painless” on the OUTSIDE of the area that is inflamed (like you can spray your jaw if you have a toothache).

What the heck.  I sprayed the front of my throat with Naturally Painless.  Within MINUTES I felt relief.  Whatever was inflamed in my throat reduced. The yucky stuff that was clogging up my throat loosened up.  I went back to sleep.  Woke up a couple of hours later with NO sore throat!!!

This stuff is insane!  It works like magic.  It’s almost worth getting something inflamed just to spray it on to see how it works.  Ok… well, not really… don’t try that… but… do make sure you have a bottle handy in your house and your car so that you will have it to relieve the aches and pains of life.
